Blackjack Basic Strategy
Blackjack is a game between the dealer and you and is known as one of the more popular Online Casino games. A shoe is known as Blackjack cards that are being dealt from a deck of cards. Between a standard deck of 52 cards or 6 packs of 52 cards are what a shoe usually consists of. It is more popular to play Online Blackjack using only one deck of cards as this increases your chances of winning the game.
At the start of the game the Dealer deals 2 cards to you and 1 card to himself. Other casinos may deal 2 cards to the dealer with one placed face down so that the value cannot be seen. Cards being shown face down are known as 'hole card'.
The game of blackjack online is basically to get the best hand possible without exceeding 21 but getting as close to possible as you can. Jacks, Queens and Kings are known as face cards and they contain a value of 1. Aces have either a value of 1 or 11 depending on which would benefit you more.
If your first 2 cards don't add up to 21, you may then ask for more cards. Having a hand that doesn't exceed or add up to 21 allows you to still ask for additional cards until you feel satisfied or until your cards add up to 21 or below.
If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an ace or a ten. Once you have achieved Blackjack then you are unable to ask for more cards as you already have the best hand possible.
Playing the Game
It's very easy to learn how to play online blackjack for money. There is just one skill required within blackjack and that is knowing how to add. With that skill, you want to attain a hand scoring as close to 21 as possible and being closer to 21 than the dealer. Going over 21 is known as a bust; and that is very bad news for you, as your chips will begin disappearing very quickly.

When you begin playing Blackjack you will find the Blackjack table, where the min bet is already placed. You need to the decrease or increase your bet amount using the buttons shown. The columns chips size will vary as you are placing your bet. You are then allowed to start playing once you have decided on an amount.
To get the dealer to begin you need to click the Dealer button. You will then be dealt 2 cards whilst the dealer receives 1 card.
Once the cards are dealt you then need to make a decision on whether you wish to take another card known as 'hit' or whether you would like to stay which is to 'stand'. If you have received an Ace and a card with the value of 10 then you have achieved Blackjack unless the dealer has also achieved that hand on his first 2 cards. You have then won the game and are paid out 2 and a half times your original wager.
If you have asked for another card which exceeds your value to more than 21 you have gone 'bust' and lost the game. Simply click the deal button to play again.
Click the 'Stand' button to finish the game if you are satisfied with your hand. The dealer then continues picking up cards until his hand equals or exceeds 17 in value. If his hand equals more than 21 you win as the dealer has gone 'bust'. If his hand is more than 17 in value but less than 21 the total of both hands are compared and the winning hand wins. If you have a stronger hand you then receive double your winnings or you lose if his hand is stronger.
